Starting Tuesday, Aug. 1, work will begin on a portion of Hays Road to install a stream crossing for a Pennsylvania American Water Company (PAWC) project.

On Tuesday, Aug. 1, a portion of Hays Road, from Franklin Drive to Gerrie Drive, will be open to one lane of traffic. Flaggers will be present to maintain the flow of traffic.

On Wednesday, Aug. 2, and Thursday, Aug. 3, the same area of Hays Road will be closed to traffic. Gerrie Drive and Franklin Drive will be marked as detour routes.

The same portion of Hays Road will then close again on Monday, Aug. 7, and Tuesday, Aug. 8. Gerrie Drive and Franklin Drive will once again be marked as detour routes.
