Finance

The Department of Finance is responsible for all fiscal concerns of the Township including:
  • budget preparation and expenditure control
  • financial reporting and projecting
  • debt management
  • insurance management
  • property and inventory control
  • purchasing
  • investments
  • tax and revenue collection (see below)
  • all township deposits and banking transactions
  • coordination of independent auditors

Township Tax Office

Jordan Tax Service (JTS) is jointly appointed to collect and administer all taxes for both the Township of Upper St. Clair and the Upper St. Clair School District.

In addition to its main offices in McMurray and Bethel Park, JTS staffs a Township Tax Office located within the Township's municipal building. The Township Tax Office is located next to the Reception Area in the Township Building. 

Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. except during the summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day) when the hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Township Tax Office is closed for lunch every day from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.  An outside payment depository box is available to the left of the main building entrance where any tax or sewage payment may be dropped off at any time.

JTS accepts credit card and eCheck payments through its website at www.jordantax.com. Credit card payments are not accepted at the Township Tax Office.
