Tax & Sewer Billing

Taxes are the primary source of revenue for the Township's General Fund.  Tax rates are determined by the state and/or local regulations to yield sufficient funds to pay for the expense of providing public services.

The Township of Upper St. Clair and the Upper St. Clair School District have jointly appointed Jordan Tax Service as the Tax Collector for Upper St. Clair. In addition to its main offices in McMurray and Bethel Park, Jordan Tax Service staffs a Tax Office located within the Township's municipal building. Jordan Tax Service administers the following for Upper St. Clair:

Real Estate Taxes provide roughly 35 percent of the revenue for the Township's general fund, while Earned Income & Net Profits Tax account for 44 percent of the general fund.
