PennDOT will resume construction at the intersection of Boyce Road and Mayview Road in South Fayette on March 1, weather permitting. The work will include replacing a culvert, adding turn lanes and making design improvements. 

Here is PennDOT's timeline for the project as of Feb. 24, 2022:

• The landslide area on Mayview Road near Hastings will reopen before the Boyce-Mayview intersection work begins. 
• On March 1, Pennsylvania American Water will close the western leg of Boyce Road and southern leg of Mayview Road to install a new 36'' waterline.
• On or about March 4, Pennsylvania American Water will open the western leg of Boyce Road and southern leg of Mayview Road while closing the eastern leg of Boyce Road and northern leg of Mayview Road to install of new 36'' pipe and valves. 
• On or about March 22, Pennsylvania American water will open the eastern leg of Boyce Road and northern leg of Mayview Road while closing the western leg of Boyce Road and southern leg of Mayview Road to cut and cap the old waterline. 
• On or about March 22, the contractor will begin work while the western leg of Boyce Road and southern leg of Mayview Road is closed. The closure extends to approximately Aug. 22.
• On or about Aug. 22, the western leg of Boyce Road and southern leg of Mayview Road will open and the eastern leg of Boyce Road and northern leg of Mayview Road will close. This closure extends to approximately Nov. 8. 
• On or about Nov. 8, all legs of Boyce Road and Mayview Road will open to traffic.
