The Planning Commission acts in an advisory capacity and makes recommendations to the Board of Commissioners on applications filed under Chapter 114, Subdivision and Land Development, and Chapter 130, Zoning, as well as amendments to those Chapters and the Comprehensive Plan. The board meets at 7:00 p.m. on the third Thursday each month. The alternate meeting date is 7:00 p.m. the fourth Thursday each month.
The Board consists of seven members, each of whom is a full-time resident and qualified elector of the Township of Upper St. Clair. Members are appointed by the Board of Commissioners to serve for a four-year term.
