Building and Zoning Permit Applications

ALARM PERMIT

  • Residential - $30
  • Nonresidential - $60 per type of alarm
  • Police Alarm Panel Connection - $100 per account number

BUILDING PERMIT

  • Residential - Additions/AlterationsConstruction Cost (Type VB) x square feet x .0029 (includes all living area, basements, garages and finished attics). + PA State Permit Surcharge

  • PA State Permit Surcharge - $4.50 per building permit

ELECTRICAL PERMIT

  • $60.00 for one residential inspection
  • $110.00 for two residential inspections
  • New Residential$110.00 - up to 100 amp service
    • $157.00 - up to 200 amp service
    • $194.00 - up to 400 amp service

FENCE PERMIT

  • $25

GRADING PERMIT

  • $85 for the first 1,000 cu. yds. + $25 for each additional 1,000 cu. yds. or portion thereof, based on cut or fill, whichever is greater (additional costs may occur for projects estimated at or above $25,000)

HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT

  • $25

SANITARY SEWER (TAP) CONNECTION FEE

  • $1,500 + $1,000 per Equivalent Dwelling Unit (EDU)


SMALL PROJECTS PERMIT

  • Base fee of $50 + $4 for each $1,000 of estimated value of construction + $4.50 PA State Permit Surcharge

STREET OPENING PERMIT

  • $75 (assessed additional fees may apply)
  • $80 for invisible fences and lawn sprinkler systems + Indemnification Agreement

ZONING PERMIT

  • $25.00
  • No fee if building permit is required except if by Conditional Use, Special Exception or Planned Development (other than Single Family)
