The Volunteer Fire Department is staffed by approximately 50 professionally trained and dedicated individuals who volunteer their time to provide fire protection to the Township. These men and women come from a variety of professions, including carpenters, contractors, students, bricklayers, chefs, mechanics, engineers, accountants, doctors, and branch managers. The volunteers are sup[ported by three full-time staff members employed by the Township.
In addition to time spent responding to calls and training, members participate in community events and provide fire and life safety education programs to the public.
