Drake Road to be Milled and Paved Starting April 15
The Allegheny County Department of Public Works tentatively plans to start milling Drake Road in Bethel Park and Upper St. Clair on Friday, April 15. The road is then expected to be paved by a county crew at some point the following week.
No detours will be needed during construction. Drivers can expect to experience short stoppages at work zones, and flaggers will be used to control traffic. The work is expected to be done between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays.
