The Upper St. Clair Board of Commissioners issued an official proclamation designating the week of May 15-21, 2022 as Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week in Upper St. Clair. Commissioner Ronald J. Pardini presented Tri-Community South EMS employees the proclamation during the May 2 regular Board meeting. 

You can celebrate EMS Week by educating yourself and loved ones about safety, actively thanking someone who works in EMS and even sharing stories about how EMS workers made an impact in your personal life. Commissioner Pardini said he had to call the ambulance service when his relative fell and broke her hip. He thanked the EMS workers during his presentation.

"Your service was kind, compassionate and caring," he said. "It's an honor and privilege for me to present this proclamation to you."

Upper St. Clair residents are also encouraged to consider purchasing a subscription or donating to Tri-Community South EMS. The EMS service covers Upper St. Clair, Bethel Park and South Park. Tri-Community South EMS receives no tax subsidies from the townships and depends on residents' and business owners' financial support.
