Electronics Recycling Postponed One Week Due to Weather
The e-cycling event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. No early drop-offs are permitted. Residents must drop off electronics with JVS Environmental between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The event is located in the parking lot of the Community & Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park, 1551 Mayview Road, Upper St. Clair 15241. Follow the directional signs.
E-cycling is the recycling of electronic equipment, anything with a cord including large electronic appliances. In accordance with Chapter 68 of the Township Code, Upper St. Clair requires the recycling of electronic equipment. These items are not collected curbside.
Please be advised residents are only allowed to recycle one TV per car. There is a $40 charge for any appliances containing refrigerant. Refrigerant-containing appliances are accepted for a fee.
The following items are not accepted: pianos; organs; smoke detectors; batteries; vacuum cleaners; shavers; electric toothbrushes; curling irons.
