Upper St. Clair welcomes two new police officers. On Jan. 12, Officers Abby Weaver and Alex Daum were sworn in by District Judge Ronald Arnoni.  

Officer Abby Weaver graduated cum laude from Point Park University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She also served in the United States Army Reserves where she achieved the rank of sergeant. Before joining the Upper St. Clair Police Department, Weaver spent five years working for the City of Pittsburgh as a patrol officer and detective. 

Officer Alex Daum graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Criminology/Pre-Law. He also served as a member of IUP’s police force as a patrol officer for two years before joining the Upper St. Clair Police Department.
