The Upper St. Clair Board of Commissioners presented Dani Prunzik with a Certificate of Achievement Tuesday night for her first place finish at the 2021 Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) Class AAA Girls' Track and Field Championships in the 100-meter dash with a best personal time of 12.33 seconds. The incoming Upper St. Clair High School junior also placed third in the 200-meter dash at WPIAL.

At the 2021 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class AAA Girls' Track and Field Championships, Miss Prunzik placed fifth in the 100-meter dash and eighth in the 200-meter dash. 

Commissioner Robert W. Orchowski presented Miss Prunzik with the award. Commissioner Pamela L. Enck commended Miss Prunzik for all her track and field success at a young age. 

Miss Prunzik was joined by her parents, Dan and Sandra, and her coaches, Doug Petrick and Matt Cosgrove, for the presentation.
