USC Cares For Kids
USC Cares For Kids is a program of the Upper St. Clair Youth Steering Committee, dedicated to nurturing children and youth through the framework of the 40 Development Assets*.

Mission Statement:
USC Cares for Kids by:
- engaging community members, resources and assets,
- nurturing children and youth,
- developing competent, contributing, responsible and compassionate individuals.
*40 Developmental Assets is a research-based framework developed by the Search Institute. The Developmental Assets are 40 common sense, positive experiences and qualities that help influence choices young people make and help them become caring, responsible adults.
