Municipal Tennis Courts

Summer Tennis Program

Upper St. Clair maintains 10 tennis courts in the Municipal Park on McLaughlin Run Road. Permits and a tennis Photo I.D. are required for play on the Municipal Courts.

For those not wishing to purchase permits, neighborhood tennis courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis at Baker Park, Byrnwick Park, Hays Park, Johnston Park, and Trotwood Park. These neighborhood courts are not available on a permit basis and, except for Baker, do not have lights. Resident usage is first-come first-served. Occasionally, however, the Baker Courts may be reserved for tennis instruction.

Copies of the Rules and Regulations for the season are available at the Department of Recreation and Leisure Services or at the Municipal Tennis Courts. Registration for the Summer Tennis Program usually begins the first part of April.

Check the Spring/Summer Township Recreation Brochure for registration information and fees.

Random time play is available on an hourly rate. Random time reservations are permitted up to one week in advance.

The Paddle Tennis Courts are available for non-resident use when not in demand by Upper St. Clair residents. Permits are issued for league play at a reduced hourly rate.

The summer season runs approximately from mid-April to the beginning of October.

The winter paddle tennis program tentatively runs for about 28 weeks from the beginning of October until mid April. For winter scheduling and rates check the Fall/Winter Township Recreation Programs brochure, available each year around the beginning of September.

Tennis Bubble Program
