- Fines for overdue materials are charged for every day the library is open.
- Renewals can be made by phone during regular library hours by phoning 412.835.5540, or by accessing your account via our online catalog. You may also call the automated renewal line at any time: 412.622.1895.
Please note: When renewing via our online catalog, all items must be renewed by midnight of the due date in order to avoid fines.
- Items on hold for someone else may not be renewed.
- Reserves can be placed on any circulating item, except Walk-In Collection materials.
- Children's seasonal materials may have a limit imposed on the number of items that may be checked out to one family at one time.
- The outside book return may be used for everything except puzzles and puppets. It is emptied every day at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
