Tribute Books Collection
Tribute books are a thoughtful and lasting way to remember and honor family and friends, and to give the gift of books to others. A specifically inscribed Tribute Bookplate is placed inside each book as a memorial or to honor a special occasion.
Tribute Book occasions might include: memorial, anniversary, birth, engagement, graduation, promotion, marriage, recognition or service, retirement, thank you, special achievement and religious celebrations.
Our suggested minimum donation is $25 for an Adult book or $20 for a Children's book, however, a larger donation enables us to purchase multiple or costlier books.
A letter of acknowledgement will be sent to you and the designated person or their family when we receive your donation. You and the designated person(s) will also be notified when the book is ready for circulation to afford you the opportunity for a preview.
Selecting a general area of interest is encouraged. Final purchase decisions will be made by Library Staff to ensure selection for materials of high quality and lasting value that will be enjoyed by many patrons.
Donations of any amount for our Book Fund are always welcome and an acknowledgment will be sent to the donor and designated person. However, a specific book will not be chosen for donations less than our suggested minimums.
