eiNetwork & the Township of Upper St. Clair Library
The eiNetwork (Electronic Information Network) provides libraries in Allegheny County with cost-effective, high-speed Internet access and specialized electronic databases. It also offers a shared library catalog of over 3.5 million items.
The County Catalog -- As a linked library, USC patrons have access to the County Library Catalog and can request items found in it, but our collection remains in a separate catalog.
The USC catalog is available in the library and on the Internet.
ONE LIBRARY CARD -- You can choose one library card which will be valid here and at every other eiNetwork library. For example, your USC library card can be registered in the eiNetwork database, or your Carnegie Library card number can be used in the USC database. Ask at the circulation desk for more information.
Online Databases -- The eiNetwork offers access to valuable electronic information. Magazine articles, encyclopedias, business and health information, and a photo archive are available at all eiNetwork libraries. In addition, if you are registered in the eiNetwork database, you have access to most of these databases from your home computer with Internet access.
Internet Access -- The eiNetwork has provided workstations in the library for patrons to access the Internet through a high-speed connection. |
