Get Fired Up About Reading! Winter Reading 2008
Do you love books and reading! Well, get fired up for the Upper St. Clair Library's Winter Reading Program. 
The Winter Reading Program, which runs from Wednesday January 2nd to Friday February 29th, is back for Kids in Kindergarten - 2nd grade.
- Read some library books and help us fill our Dragon with scales.
- For every book you read, you will get a scale to place on our Dragon's body.
- Come into the Library to sign up, receive your reading log sheet, and check out some books.
- After you've read a few, come back into the Library to collect your scales.
- Get fired up and read five or more books, and you'll get a hot treat!

Family Battle of the Books
Kids and parents will face off in the ultimate showdown of book knowledge. Relying on your memories of books read and your quick reflex skills, families will attempt to accumulate the most points for their team to win the Battle of the Books.
Registration is open to as many participants who wish to be involved. The children must be in either 3rd or 4th grade, and all team members must be related. Begin reading your books when you sign-up!
