Ice Cream for Books Winter Reading 2009
I scream, you scream, we all scream for reading and books! Join the Upper St. Clair Township Library's annual Winter Reading Program and have fun, and get rewarded, for reading books this winter. 
The Winter Reading Program, which runs from Friday, January 2 until Friday, February 27, is back for Kids in Kindergarten - 2nd grade.
- For every five books you read, you'll get a scoop of ice cream to go on our cone.
- Sign up to get your progress tracker.
- Each participant who reads 15 or more books will receive a small prize

Family Battle of the Books
Kids and parents will face off in the ultimate showdown of book knowledge. Relying on your memories of books read and your quick reflex skills, families will attempt to accumulate the most points for their team to win the Battle of the Books.
Registration is open to as many participants who wish to be involved. The children must be in either 3rd or 4th grade, and all team members must be related. Begin reading your books when you sign-up!

Teen Battle of the Books
7th graders are invited to participate in this new Battle of the Books program. Form a team consisting of two people - you and a partner - sign up at the Library, and begin reading. Relying on your memories of books read and your quick reflex skills, teams will attempt to accumulate the most points for their team to win the Battle of the Books.
Registration is open to as many participants who wish to be involved. The teams must be made up of 7th graders. Begin reading your books when you sign up!
