Special Classes and Craft Weekends Spring 2010

Paws for Reading | Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

All programs are free of charge.
Registration for all programs is done in person at the Library.
To ensure quality programs, limiting groups by size and age is often necessary.
During classes, all caregivers are required to stay within the Library building.

NEW! Paws for Reading

Here's an opportunity for kids to practice their reading skills with student volunteers. During this class we will be welcoming Rona and Norman Pookman, and their therapy dogs Molly and Piper! Participants of this program will get a chance to interact with the dogs, who love to hear stories read to them by boys and girls. Families may sign up for 1 fifteen minute time slot with the dogs. We will also be offering games and worksheets to reinforce reading and writing skills.

Who:	Kids in Kindergarten - 4th grade with their families

When:	Thursday from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Registration for the April 22 Class begins Monday April 12
Registration for the May 20 Class begins Monday May 10

Get ready for St. Patrick's Day by creating some great decorations at the Library.
