USC Library Author Luncheon
Celebrating National Poetry Month
Dr. Samuel Hazo Award winning poet and author will be the featured speaker at this year's Library Author Luncheon.
Dr. Hazo, an Upper St. Clair resident, is a national and international figure, the founder and director of the Pittsburgh International Poetry Forum and the McAnulty Distinguished Professor of English Emeritus at Duquesne University, where he taught for forty-three years.
A National Book Award Finalist, he was chosen Pennsylvania's first State Poet by Governor Casey in 1993 and served until 2003.
Join us at St. Clair County Club on Sunday April 18 from 1 - 3 p.m.
Dr. Hazo will have books available for purchase and has graciously agreed to sign copies after the luncheon.
Luncheon tickets are $30.00. Ticket sales run March 1st through April 10th and must be purchased in advance at the Reference Desk on the Adult Floor of the Library. You can also print the Luncheon Registration Form and return it to the Library.
