How to volunteer for a board or commission
In addition to the elected Board of Commissioners, the Township has seven appointed Boards or Commissions, comprised of Upper St. Clair residents, which specialize in selected areas of municipal government and serve as advisors. Meetings and hearings are held annually by the various Boards and Commissions in accordance with their assigned duties and responsibilities. Except for the Parks and Recreation Board, which meets in the Boyce Mayview Community & Recreation Center (C&RC) Community Room, all Board meetings are held in the Board of Commissioners Meeting Room in the Municipal Building on McLaughlin Run Road, unless otherwise noted. The Youth Steering Committee also meets at the C&RC.
The Township's Boards and Commissions are listed below as links to pages which fully explain their function and authority. To serve on a board or commission, complete a Talent Bank Form, available here or from the Township Manager's Office. In the event of a vacancy on a board or commission, the Talent Bank Forms identify residents who are interested in volunteering their time and expertise.
