Notice of Public Comment - Pollutant Reduction Plan - August 28, 2017 - 7:30 PM

The Township of Upper St. Clair is soliciting comments on a Pollutant Reduction Plan (PRP).  The Township’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit requires Upper St. Clair to prepare a PRP for the removal of sediment and phosphorus and make this plan available for public review and comment.    The PRP will be available for review at the Community Development Office, Township of Upper St. Clair Municipal Building, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241, on August 2, 2017, during regular office hours.  The purpose of the PRP is to discuss the methodology used by the municipality to reduce or eliminate the sources of Sediment and Nutrients to meet water quality standards.

Comments on the draft plan must be filed in writing no later than 30 days after the publication of the formal notice.  Comments should be clearly marked “PRP Comments” and either mailed, hand-delivered or discussed during the comment period at a public meeting.  All comments which are mailed or hand-delivered should be delivered to the Township of Upper St. Clair, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241; Attention Matthew R. Serakowski.  The Township will also accept public comments at the August 28, 2017 Board of Commissioners’ meeting.
