PUBLIC MEETINGS and LEGAL NOTICES

Public Hearing

The Board of Commissioners of the Township of Upper St. Clair will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 2, 2011, beginning at 7:30 p.m., or shortly thereafter, in the Board of Commissioners' Meeting Room, Upper St. Clair Township, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241, to consider the following:

PLC11-0002 - SOUTH HILLS VILLAGE MALL REDEVELOPMENT - An application filed by South Hills Village Associates, LP, for Tentative Approval of a Nonresidential Planned Development to renovate the existing Boscov's for a Target on the first level and Dick's Sporting Goods on levels two and three, two new outparcels for future tenants and a reconfiguration of the entrance at the Macy's end, on property zoned C-3, Regional Shopping District, located at South Hills Village Mall.

A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Township Offices, address above, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

All persons wishing to be heard should appear at the above place at the time specified.

Planning Commission Special Meeting

The Planning Commission of the Township of Upper St. Clair will hold a special meeting on Thursday, May 5, 2011, beginning at 7:30 P.M., or shortly thereafter, in Community Rooms A, B and C, at the Community and Recreation Center, 1551 Mayview Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241 to review PLC11-1303 - Zoning Text Amendment to Permit Mixed Use Conditional Use on Consol Property and Discussion Re. PLC11-1302 - Zoning Text Amendment Re. Electronic Message Center Signs.

Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Special Meeting

Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board of the Township of Upper St. Clair will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 7:30 P.M. in the Community Rooms at the Community & Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park, 1551 Mayview Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241. The purpose of the meeting is to seek public input regarding the future use of Gilfillan Park land with respect to parks, recreational, civic, or cultural uses.

Public Hearing

The Board of Commissioners of the Township of Upper St. Clair will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 6, 2011, beginning at 7:30 P.M., or shortly thereafter, in the Board of Commissioners’ Meeting Room, Upper St. Clair Township, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241, to consider the following:

Transfer of Restaurant Liquor License No. R12626 from Scoots LTD, 310 3rd Street, Heidelberg, PA 15106 into the Township of Upper St. Clair to Pasquarelli LLC at 631 Painters Run Road.

PLC11-0003 – Fair Acres PRD Plan – Application filed by William C. McCloskey for Tentative Approval of a Planned Residential Development containing 37 single family homes on property zoned R-1, Single Family Residential District, owned by William C. McCloskey Family LP, located along Hays Road.

A copy of each application is available for public inspection at the Township Offices, address above, 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. All persons wishing to be heard should appear at the above place at the time specified.

Playing Fields Work Group Meetings

Notice is hereby given that meetings of the Playing Fields Work Group of the Township of Upper St. Clair, will be held on the following Fridays at 7:30 a.m.: February 18, 2011; March 18, 2011; April 15, 2011; May 20, 2011; June 17, 2011; July 15, 2011; August 19, 2011; September 16, 2011; October 21, 2011; and November 18, 2011 at the Public Works Building, 1751 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241.
