E-CYCLING ORDINANCE

The Township will be considering an ordinance at its November 2 meeting which would make e-cycling a new requirement in 2010.

E-cycling materials consist of electronic equipment including but not necessarily limited to computers, keyboards, televisions, printers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, cell phones, telephones, stereos, radios, speakers, compact disc players, and VCR/DVR players.

To assist with recycling of these materials, the Township would arrange for a monthly local drop-off.

While many items would be accepted at no charge, there would be a cost for TVs and computer monitors.
