Community & Recreation Center Reopening Information

Outdoor Pool

The outdoor pool will open daily (weather permitting) to Community & Recreation Center members. Upper St. Clair residents may purchase a day pass Monday-Friday. 
To better serve our members, guest passes and complimentary daily admission passes will not be accepted at this time. 

Prior to each visit, make a reservation.
-Visit our registration website by clicking here.
-Two sessions are available each day:
11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 - 7 p.m.
-Please register each individual in your family.
-Note that as a member you already have an account. Your username is your email address. If you are unable to log in, please contact us.
-Reservations may be made up to 24 hours in advance, beginning at 11 a.m. on the day prior to your visit.

Children age 14 and under must be directly supervised by their parent or legal guardian at all times.

-Please help your children understand the best way to maintain a safe environment.

Face masks or coverings are recommended when entering/exiting the facility and when social distancing is not possible.
-Please do not wear a mask while in the water. 

Lounge chairs have been removed to promote social distancing and decrease communal touch points.
-Members are welcome to bring their own beach/camp chairs.
-Tents, umbrellas or other shade structures are not permitted.

Concessions will not be available.
-Members are welcome to bring their own food/non-alcoholic beverages.

Play features such as the large slide and lily pads will be open.
-Children will be encouraged to social distance using ground markers.

Locker rooms will be open.
-Please arrive dressed for swimming and limit locker room visits when possible.

Staff will clean and sanitize the outdoor facility prior to opening, between sessions and after closing each day.
-Please help us by leaving no trace behind (chairs, garbage, personal belongings). All items will be disposed of at the end of each day.

Indoor Pool

The indoor aquatics area will be limited to lap swimming in the lap pool and water exercise/walking in the resistance channel.

Lap Pool
Prior to each visit, make a reservation by clicking here
-45-minute sessions are available beginning at 6 a.m. Monday-Saturday and 12 p.m. Sunday.
-Only one 45-minute session may be booked per day.
-Reservations may be made up to one day in advance.
-Please create an account using your phone number and email.
-For reference when booking, Lane 4 is the closest to the leisure pool, and Lane 1 is closed to the storage closet.

Shared items, such as training equipment, will not be available.
-Feel free to bring your own kick board, fins, paddles, etc.

Locker rooms will be open.
-Please arrive prepared to swim and limit locker room visits.

Resistance Channel
Capacity is limited to seven individuals.
-No reservation is required. Members will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Directional arrows have been added to encourage one-way traffic.

Safety is our top priority and the changes you see in the fitness department reflect just that.

Two Fitness Floors
-We divided and distanced our cardio equipment in both the lobby and upstairs fitness floor.
-An additional functional fitness area was added to the lobby for your convenience.
-No reservations are needed to use the fitness equipment.

Continuous Cleaning
-Our staff will be on a continuous cleaning schedule using Apter Disinfectant Spray.
-Please help protect yourself and others by wiping down all equipment and surfaces before and after use with our ERC wipes.

Age Guidelines
-All children age 14 and under must be directly supervised by their parent or legal guardian.
-Children ages 10-13 are welcome to use cardio equipment alongside their parent(s).
-We recommend utilizing the lobby area for this age group as they now have the added benefit of access to the functional fitness zone.
-Children ages 14 and up will continue to have full access to all fitness areas (cardio and weights).

Limit Locker Room Usage
-Locker rooms will be available. To limit gathering in close quarters, we recommend coming dressed to exercise and leaving immediately after.

Face Masks
-Wear a face mask or covering when entering/exiting the building as well as in common areas such as the hallways and locker rooms.
-Masks are not required while exercising, but you are welcome to wear one if you prefer.

Group Exercise
-Classes begin June 29.
-Reservations are required and are available on Fridays for the entire next week.

-The Playroom will reopen for child care on July 7.
-Capacity is limited to eight children and two staff members.
-Reservations are required and are available on Fridays for the entire next week.

-During our initial phase of reopening, we will repurpose the gym for group exercise, camps and programs.
-The gym will not be immediately available for basketball, family gym time, volleyball or pickleball.
