Building and Zoning Permit Applications

    ALARM PERMIT
  • Residential - $30
  • Nonresidential - $60 per type of alarm
  • Police Alarm Panel Connection - $100 per account number

  • BUILDING PERMIT
  • Residential - Additions/Alterations
    $35.00 for first $10,000 estimated value of construction + $4 for each $1,000 or portion thereof over $10,000 + PA State Permit Surcharge
  • Residential - New Dwelling
    $35 + $0.28 per sq. ft. of living area, including basements, garages, and finished attics + PA State Permit Surcharge
  • PA State Permit Surcharge - $4.50 per building permit

  • ELECTRICAL PERMIT
  • $55.00 for one residential inspection
  • $100.00 for two residential inspections
  • New Residential
    $100.00 - up to 100 amp service
    $143.00 - up to 200 amp service
    $176.00 - up to 400 amp service

  • FENCE PERMIT
  • $25

  • GRADING PERMIT
  • $85 for the first 1,000 cu. yds. + $25 for each additional 1,000 cu. yds. or portion thereof, based on cut or fill, whichever is greater (additional costs may occur for projects estimated at or above $25,000)

  • HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT
  • $20

  • SANITARY SEWER (TAP) CONNECTION FEE
  • $1,500 + $1,000 per Equivalent Dwelling Unit (EDU)

  • STREET OPENING PERMIT
  • $60 (assessed additional fees may apply)
  • $80 for invisible fences and lawn sprinkler systems + Indemnification Agreement

  • ZONING PERMIT

  • No fee if building permit is required except if by Conditional Use, Special Exception or Planned Development (other than Single Family)
