Golf Course Sidewalk
Summer 2004
A new sidewalk and stream bank stabilization along McLaughlin Run Creek near the Township's Three-Hole Golf Course were completed in August 2004. This work was necessary due to erosion caused by the high volume of water running through McLaughlin Run Creek.

The funding for the streambed portion of the project came from a Growing Greener grant funded through the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. The Township's Department of Public Works constructed the sidewalk and planted new landscaping as a part of this overall project.

This segment partially completes the phase of the Sidewalks and Bikeways Plan from the municipal building to Morrow Road and the tennis courts. If funds are available in 2005, the asphalt sidewalk from the Three-Hole Golf Course to the Recreation Center will be replaced with concrete.
