Employment Opportunities

The Township employs both full-time and part-time employees as well as administrative interns and other contractual professionals. Openings are generally announced through advertisements in local newspapers and / or professional journals as well as on the Township's web site.

Applications for full-time positions may be picked up at the Township Reception area in the Municipal Building located at 1820 McLaughlin Run Road upon the announcement of the opening.

The Assistant Township Manager will answer any additional questions you may have or will provide any special instructions that may be appropriate to a particular position.

Resumes and / or applications for student internships and part-time work may be submitted at any time throughout the year. However, positions for Public Works and Recreation Department Summer Positions should be made on or before April 15 of each year. Applications for these positions are available at the Reception Desk in the Municipal Building.

Registered Dietician

The Township of Upper St. Clair is accepting applications for a registered dietician.

This position will be part-time with a flexible schedule of day, evening and possible week-end hours.

The Township is looking for candidates to provide nutritional care including assessments, plans and diet counseling to our members and visitors of the Community & Recreation Center.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree along with a RD license. Candidates must have experience in nutrition screening, assessment, and education/seminars. A motivated self-starter with strong communication, customer service, verbal and written skills are required.

Pilates Reformer Instructors

The Township of Upper St. Clair is accepting applications for Pilates Reformer Instructors.

This position will be part-time with a flexible schedule of day, evening and possible week-end hours.

The Township is looking to build the current program which is located in a studio within the Community & Recreation Center.

Candidates must have experience, possess excellent verbal communication skills and enjoy working with the public. A Professional Certification is required.
