- January - December 2004, the deer hunt total was 36. The road kill was 204.
- January - December 2003, the deer hunt total was 34. The road kill was 157.
- January - December 2002, the deer hunt total was 44. The road kill was 136.
- January - December 2001, the deer hunt total was 47. The road kill was 130.
- Air Scan completed its infrared aerial deer census on March 14, 2002. The total was 190 deer.
- An aerial deer count in March 2001 counted 155 deer in 54 groups.
- The Humane Society of the United States (H.S.U.S.) visited the Township the week of March 12, 2001 to determine if Upper St. Clair might be a viable site for a PZP Deer Birth Control Program. A PZP Program was not advised by the H.S.U.S.
- An aerial deer count which occurred in early March 2000 counted 250 deer. This is a pre-birth count.
- January - December 2000, the deer hunt total was 53. The road kill total was 127.
- January - December 1999, the deer hunt total was 67. The road kill total was 130.
- Strieter Lites (reflectors designed to deter deer from crossing roadways) have been installed for approximately one mile on Rt. 19 from the Peters Township line northward. Results over the past several years have not been encouraging.
