Deer Management
Charge to Members of the Ad Hoc Whitetail Deer Committee
The Commissioners charge the ad hoc committee to develop alternative options for each of the following:
- Provide a forum for residents to gain direct information from experts who have in-depth knowledge of specific aspects of the problem
- Provide information which can be provided on a continual basis to eliminate or reduce damage to their property
- Attempt to advise motorists of the proximity of deer in an effort to eliminate or reduce occasions of personal injury and/or vehicular damage
- Manage the deer population within our community
- Identify other methods to address the deer problem
