The Miracle League of the South Hills, located in Upper St. Clair, has been chosen for the second year in a row to host the 2020 Pirates Charities All-Star Weekend.
In addition, Pirates Charities awarded the Miracle League of the South Hills the “We Believe” Honoree, which is given to the Pirates Charities beneficiary of the year.
"It's an unbelievable honor to receive this award. The Pittsburgh Pirates organization is second to none when it comes to giving back to their community. This award is a reflection of our awesome players, buddies, volunteers, and their families that truly make the Miracle League of the South Hills and amazing place," said Tim Gebhart, Executive Director of the Miracle League of the South Hills.
"We are humbled and honored to get this award. The Pirates Organization has been so amazing to us since the beginning. Thank you Patty Salerno and your team for being a huge reason why the Miracle League of the South Hills exists in my hometown,” said Sean Casey, co-founder and President of the Miracle League of the South Hills and Upper St. Clair resident.
The 2020 Pirates Charities All-Star Weekend is expected to take place in August.
