Cardboard / Paper Recycling Program

The self-serve paper recycling bin will continue to be available in the small Public Works parking lot at the corner of Truxton Drive and McLaughlin Run Road through the first quarter of 2009, but will be phased out since the new recycling program now includes the collection of these items curbside.

Please do not drop off newsprint.
Continue to recycle newsprint at your curbside.

Items acceptable for "self-serve" cardboard / paper recycling:

Corrugated cardboard (flatten all boxes)
Paper: junk mail, shredded paper, computer paper, office paper, envelopes, brochures, wrapping paper, etc.
Packaging cardboard such as cereal boxes and tissue boxes, etc. (flatten boxes)
Magazines, catalogues, phone books
